Ghost of Tsushima Announced for PS5, Next-Gen Improvements Revealed

Sucker Punch Production’s hit game Ghost of Tsushima is coming to the PlayStation 5, the developer said this week. It’s not getting a PlayStation 5 rerelease that we know of yet, but it’s been confirmed that the game will be playable on the next-gen console via backwards compatibility and will benefit from some of the core upgrades offered to games on the new console. It’ll be playable on the console the same day that the PlayStation 5 is released, Sucker Punch said.

The update on Ghost of Tsushima was shared by the developer shortly after PlayStation shared a bunch of details about the PlayStation 5’s backwards compatibility feature. For those who’ve been progressing through the game on the PlayStation 4 and don’t want to have to start over, you can bring your save file with you so you can pick up where you left off.

DLF Mall in Noida to Re-Open Next Week After Renovation, Date to be Announced Soon

Noida, October 9: DLF Mall of India in Noida is set to re-open next week after internal renovations. DLF Mall had largely remained shut since the past six months due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown. Stores selling essential items re-opened for a brief period, but they had to shut after a part of the mall’s ceiling collapsed in July. Since then, the internal renovation was underway, leading to complete closure of DLF Mall.

The Saratoga Showcase of Homes has moved from an in-person, live event to a TV format.

Liz Bishop of CBS-6 News will host an one-hour program featuring Beechwood Homes, Bella Home Builders, Belmonte Builders, Caruso Home Builders, Degraff-Bloom Custom Builders, Heritage Custom Builders, Kodiak Construction, McPadden Builders, The Earth Source Company, The West Saratoga Condos, Whitbeck Construction & Witt Construction.

The program will air on multiple dates: At 12:30 Saturday on CW Channel 15; 1 p.m. Sunday on Channel 6; 1:30 p.m. Oct. 3 on Channel 6; 12:30 p.m. Oct. 4 on CW Channel 15; 1:30 p.m. Oct. 10 on Channel 6; and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 11 on CW Channel 15.

Plan for 10,000 homes announced in Limerick ‘gateway’ project

A major plan to construct thousands of homes on over 100 acres of State-owned land in Limerick city with Colbert rail station as a central transport hub will be published on Wednesday.

The plan, spearheaded by the Land Development Agency, would see thousands of jobs created in the construction of homes and amenities on lands owned by CIÉ, Limerick City and County Council, the Health Service Executive, the Department of Education and the Department of Justice.

Android 11 for TVs announced with new features, performance & privacy improvements,

Google recently announced the release of the latest Android 11 for the smartphones. In the same vein, the company has now announced the Android 11 update for its Android TV models. The update will bring many of the Android 11 features for mobile to the TV as well as other implementations specifically tailored to TVs.

The new Android 11 features include performance improvements involving memory management as well as improvements in privacy hasn’t been overlooked either as one-time permissions are carried over to Android 11 for TVs. A framework for the physical microphone mute buttons for better integration with TVs featuring far-field microphones has been implemented.

For multimedia improvements, Google is bringing Auto Low Latency Mode and low latency media decoding. Tuner Framework with updated media CAS and extensions to the HAL implementation of HDMI CEC are also new.
